Travis Shaw, M.D.
Dr. Travis Shaw was born in Richmond and obtained his BA in East Asian studies from Washington and Lee University. He spent two and a half years teaching English in Japan before pursing graduate studies at the University of Virginia.
During his second year as a medical student at the Medical College of Virginia, Dr. Shaw travelled with his father to Kijabe Mission Hospital in Kenya. Inspired by the needs of the many patients seen with facial deformities, he chose to specialize in otolaryngology and facial plastic surgery. Dr. Shaw completed his residency at the Medical College of Virginia.
Dr. Shaw is welcoming new patients of all ages for ENT consultations. His areas of special interest include reconstructive surgery of the head and neck, rhinoplasty and skin cancer.
Dr. Shaw and his wife, Jennie, are enjoying the challenges of being new parents with their daughter Avery. Outside of work Dr. Shaw is an avid cyclist, and enjoys fly fishing, photography and music.
